Summary: Seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, train new operators and drive continuous improvement processes in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Requirements:
Must have a BSME or Industrial Technology/Engineering degree
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Some experience in manufacturing engineering/production, preferably through an internship or co-op
Must be comfortable spending 75% of time on the shop floor
Responsibilities:
Work directly with production staff to resolve shop floor manufacturing issues
Train new operators on their Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and proper use of tools/lifting devices/assets
Own the continuous improvement process
Preferred Skills:
Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with shop floor workers
Openness to working variable shifts including 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts according to production needs.
